Description

Lace is traditionally associated with the 13th wedding anniversary.  Which is not a bad number, lots of awesome things happened on the 13th, and lots of great people were born on the 13th!

This quilled heart was made using a 6″x 8″ canvas board covered in a pretty, delicate white lace designed cardstock paper on a beige background.  I then added a plain piece of beige paper for the heart to sit on.  I used 7mm quilling strips in the shades of dark purple, light purple, dark green, white, and beige, and I cut strips from the lace cardstock paper as well.

It all comes together quite nicely and would be a wonderful 13th wedding anniversary gift!!   This piece can also be framed and put just abut anywhere in the house.,
